Human development considers the relationship between people’s capacities and their integral well-being and not so much a direct relationship with their material wealth. The aim of this article is to highlight the experiences of promoting changes in attitudes and practices to improve health and quality of life. The intervention was addressed from the Primary Health Care perspective, as well as in the strategy of non-formal education as a process of education and training directed at health and safety issues of food, hygienic habits and installed capacity. The intervention was carried out at the Franciscan People Association of Girls and Boys (APUFRAM) located in Villa San Antonio, Comayagua. Human development was fostered in at least 500 beneficiaries, promoting comprehensive health and strengthening intellectual capacity, such as that installed for entrepreneurship as an action relevant to sustainable human development.
