Abstract

The article examines the calendrical and astronomical elements used to diagnose and cure the diseases reported by the Bacabes Ritual and Chilam Balam’s books concluding that some of them, especially numerical notions, have been preserved currently rain rituals as the Cha Chaak ceremonies.
