Abstract

The general objective of this research is to know what are the implications for Honduran companies in relation to the technological boom and irruption, a situation that implies the so-called collaborative economy or collaborative consumption in the country. In follow-up to the quantitative analysis arising from the diagnosis made in the macro research project on the use of TIC as a development factor (IIES) in 2020, where the information was provided in a questionnaire to different organizations with a simple random sampling design, snowball style, with a national scope of 167 companies, a situation that has led to reflection on what is happening in the country and its digital transformation and insertion in the collaborative economy. The method for verifying the hypotheses is of an exploratory type, establishing lines of action that allowed knowing some elements in the variables so that the results had optimal levels of validity. Research with an exploratory design is focused on the group of interest, with a general vision of the investigated reality, having a descriptive scope by documenting the perception of the object of study, mixing qualitative and quantitative approaches in the collection and management of information.
